just go to your dealer and see the warranty!

I'd get three opinions as to the need and the cost. A 2006 shouldn't need a tie rod replaced unless you dropped it in a ditch or something and damaged it. If it just failed I'd see the dealer about a warranty repair.

Yea I agree w/ Mustanger there is ABSOLUTELY no way you should need a new tie rod now, unless you busted it yourself driving like a jackass. So def. go ask your dealer, but regardless of that I've had one break b4, it wasn't that exact car but they are relatively cheap.....$100-$150?

depends inner or outer i would check with dealer may be under warranty yet 36,000 miles or less if you bought car new or not
