Gone I hope. We tear down a wall in Berlin in the name of freedom and democracy. Now we want to build one of our own? I've also heard the Canadians are planning one as well, serves us right! RScott

There is no doubt about we need answers and resolutions but the governments on both sides one ignores the situation and the other talks it to death. Leaving we the citizens of the US in a quandry........Do we shoot first and ask questions last? Do we continue the debate or do we "DEMAND" capital hill to find a solution?
I think I saw the fence going down PCH in CA.

You are both right! The real issue I believe is people aren't so worried about those crossing the border to work. It's the U.S. is picking up too many tabs for the workers and families. As well it should not be our tab to pick up!
The other issue is, are all of those crossing the border coming to work or maybe there are a few terrorists that would very easily "Cross" and give us another 9/11. So what are we to do? If either have been to Mexico then you must see a standard that exists there that is far worse than in the US. There is no "Middle Class" They are either very poor or very rich.
If I lived there and I was the poor one I be bustin' b^tt to get to this country. I've been there many times because of my job. I never got over the culture shock. I don't think anyone would complain if
1. We didn't have the burden of the benefits some of them receive.
2. Nor had to worry about some radical terrorist more than willing to cause injury to the US citizens.
There is no solution to the situation until Mexico decides to correct their own issues and the politicians stop being more graft intent than our own.

sorry scotty , you cannot compare a wall that separates one country with one that would separate two different countries. and if the people would follow the correct procedures to enter this country , a wall would not be necessary... tired of my work going to underpaid people who contribute no money to the tax base and to those who dont work at all and take the welfare money from needy americans...
