My Braves will take their rightful place atop the NL East once again. The Mets and Phillies will make it interesting, but New York doesn't have the pitching. I know people think that the Braves dont have much after Hudson and Smoltz, but Chuck James is a good pitcher when he's on his game. And even if all they had was Hudson and Smoltz, they're still better than anything New York has. Philadelphia doesnt have a lot past Hamels, so I think the Braves, with the addition of Texiera win the NL East and make their way back to the World Series against Cleveland.

Miss the playoffs. They will finish third behind the Mets and Phillies in the NL East. The pitching has been inconsistent and the lineup still isn't as good as New York. The Braves would be division in champs in the NL central, but not the East. The other two teams are just better at this point.

It's funny that Braves fans talk about the Mets pitching. 1-5 the Mets have the better staff and it's not even close when it comes to the bullpen. The Braves may win the wildcard but not the division. Mets are starting to play better and have a chance to put some real distance between themsevles and ATL. Braves have made up exactly 0 games since acquiring Teixeira and Dotel.

Watching the Mets win the World Series on television.
I mean, seriously. The Mets have been in first place for over three months now. What makes people think it's going to be different for the next month and a half?
Gain some real ground on the Mets. Whittle the lead down to a game or half a game and then talk.

According to MLB.COM they will be in Houston. Oh, I just read the rest of your question. Make that they will be celebrating in Houston as the wild card winner.

no way. the Braves are slipping more and more. the Mets are going to get the Divison and it would br great of those mean braves ended up last... but i guess that's not really logical so i'll settle seeing them in third.
