Yes you are correct !
What do I think about that?
The Koran is quite clear on the subject of Women, 'Men have authority over Women because Allah has made the one superior to the other'!
If I was a Muslim I would feel bound to abide by that!
Now if I was a Christian I could swap and change the meaning of the New Testament to suit to the mood or politics of the day., or even remove lumps I didn't like at any given time.
But I'm neither, so I just put it down to yet another silly religious 'quirk' and move on!

As far as I know only women in Kuwait and Iraq are allowed to vote. Saudi women are not even allowed to drive cars, or work outside the home without a close relative's permission.

Typical backward islamic states, I think women are just for breeding and beating up...When will they ever grow brains in these countries..
