It's not about speed in the sense we commonly use it to measure movement. It's more like a hope that God helps you be successful. Usually, used when someone embarks on a voyage.

you wouldnt see anyone travelling god speed as its faster than light. Honestly i have tried it it is very scary.

speden = to prosper
