Pleasure is not always based on past experiencees!!! We can find pleasure in things we have no prior knowledge of or haven't tried before. As children, we had many firsts!!! The first time we ate ice cream, the first time we ran, the first time we got to ride on a swing, the first time we went camping, the first time we roller-skated, the first time we danced, swam, sang, or made our first friend. Life is always full of firsts!!! Most of them are pleasurable.
Good luck and may God bless you.

No, it is not always. I need nothing but your use of the word always to answer this. Very rarely is a universal statement (always, never, etc) true, especially with respect to human experience. Besides, if pleasure always relies upon past experience, then how could we ever experience it? What about the FIRST time you felt pleasure?

Absolutely... (absolutely to the 2nd question, not the 1st) ... it sets the stage for a new "past experience."
I have frequently experienced new pleasures, making me hope for future repeat experiences... new pleasures come in the form of new tastes, art, poetry, taking a risk and having a new kind of adventure...

very good question...tho pleasure isn't always based on past experience but it mostly is experienced depending upon the expectations or hopes u set for a thing or a person(that person maybe u too)...on the contrary..when something pleasant happens to u, that u'd never expected...the intensity is even more..so its both the ways...its juz how u take it...

It might be true and it might be not. We may be have pleasure when we think about the happiest moment ever, and we maybe happy when we make a fantasy aboutthe perfect dream. But the first opinion is the better one because it keeps us in reality not in a dream.
