Cabbage. It was my Dad's favorite veggie and he could not
believe that I did not like it. So one Sunday when I said no thank-you.( I was about 7) He said I could not leave the table
untill the cabbage was gone. I choked it down and love Cabbage to this day. Also it taught me to try things, it made me a pretty eclectic eater.

Kidney beans. I used to pick them out of chili and avoided some concoction my mother made of kidney beans on toast (an open-face sandwich type affair) but I like them in chili now. Just not on toast.

Beetroot
Mushrooms
But since i became a vegetarian at 14yrs old,i 'taught' myself to like mushrooms as they are in a lot of veggie food. As for the beetroot,i was sick 1 day after eating it and it put me off,but i like it now....the beetroot, not the sick!!!
