Becasue many of them are irresponsible and sometimes after they leave, they mature and become responsible men. Sometimes they learn only when they have lost something that was important to them. But then again--I have known some women who are just truly biatches!!

Speaking from personal experience, my dad walked out because of "pride", or so he says. He was unable to provide for us, and felt ashamed of that. He took they easy way out, walked out, and then wondered why we did not embrace him when he showed up 25 years later. Too little, too late!

If this is what happened to you, I wish you all the luck in the world. Terrible wounds like this may never heal at all. My dad is a bastard and we will never forgive him for what he did.

He would not tell us what he had been doing for the last 25 years, either. In the long term, he did us a favor by walking out. None of us ever used drugs or went to prison, and all of us got an education and are supporting ourselves just fine, including Mom.

Those people are s**t in my book & I know a few dads & moms like that it doesn't register to me I could never stop loving my son even if I had 10 different families all my children would be loved equally
