My first Job was as a teacher at a scout camp, and The pay is next to nothing. Sometimes I think that I could sell dirt for more, but that is not why I do that job. I do it because I enjoy helping people and because I like the situation there!

I worked in a family owned "Are you being served?" type department store when I was 16 and got paid £2.10 an hour! I don't think it was a bad wage for the time but I do remember that I earned £16 a day and driving lessons were £17 an hour! :)

Working at a recycling center dealing with people who accuse you of ripping them off cuz they've been saving cans for a week and expected lots of $$$$ and then jumping into bins full of 6 month old milk jugs that have been sitting in the sun. So I'd say no the pay wasn't worth it.
