Instead of the presidential candidates both democrat and republican having debates and promising something they won't keep,shouldn't the american people listen to the people who really run the country

Yes. Actually, you often do see opinion pieces and what amount to debates among representatives of some of those (or academics sympathetic to thier positions) on the various talking-head news shows out there.

The ACLU is worthless and really socialist. They have become intent on destroying the image of America instead of defending it. Corporations control everything and as Congress becomes more distant from the public it is obvious how much they bend to favor corporations over taxpayers. Perhaps the biggest problem is the success the Chinese have been having in turning Congress against us in favor of them. Billy Boy Clinton headed that effort and Hillary will follow his lead.

An even better solution would be to force the Supreme Court Justices to open the doors and allow the media cameras in to their own Conference Room, the place where they deliberate their cases.

Since you are speaking about "who really runs the country."
