on a man pink or purple? and i guess men could answer as well but the question is more directed towards women cuz i have seen gay men were pink and i think purple is NOT gay.

pink is more of a girls color anyway and would never ever get caught dead wearing pink most people think that you are really gay, anyway. real men do not wear pink they are more of a pretty boy.

I have seen straight men wear pink. I thinks its okay for a guy to wear purple but not pink unless its a wedding of course and pink is in the scolor scheme other than that NO NO NO pink on guys!!! Pink is seen as a girly color.

PINK! Purple on a guy would turn me off...go with pink, it's not gay. It's been accepted over the last few years as normal for a guy to wear pink.

Depends on the skin tan color... U should not care if someone told u that 'pink is for gay men' if it looks good on u... My brother wore pink shirt on his wedding - with his FEMALE wife :) & my bf wears some 'gay' colors (as some people use to say) but I guarantee he's the straighest of straighest!

Purple is more elegant, and there are many different shades of each color. Deep purple or deep pinks don't do it for me. I like the lighter colors, and I prefer neither on a man.

Both pink and purple could be worn. Colors aren't gay.
I respect a man who is so secure in his manhood that he can wear any color and it doesn't make him feel like less of a man.
Anyone who decides that a man is gay because of the color of his shirt, needs to go discuss the matter with their psychologist because they have a distorted perception of reality.

I think Pink its okay but not a very light pink. my brother have a pink shirt and he's straight. the color is like a little dark. I don't know about purple I think you should stick with pink ( dark pink ).

It really depends on the guy. You know, body type, skin coloring, hair color, etc...it's the same as with ANY color, not just pink or purple. Try on both and see which looks best. If you need to, bring a girl with you when you go try them on, see what she thinks.

some guys can honestly poll off pink. It depends. I dont think that either color makes a man look gay, its all on how he thinks of himself. Darker purples do look good on guys. Howerver my ex is tan with sandy blonde hair and lavanderish did look nice on him with a dark purple tie. So it all depends on how u wear it.

A man who wears pink might be gay, or he might be a sufficiently self-confident straight (or bi) that he doesn't care that pink seems to signify gay.
Some men just don't let that kind of thing get to them. They know who they are.
Purple may be masculine enough (Amish men wear it, for example), but make sure it's good and dark. Lavender would be even more effeminate than pink.
