My local area representative grabbed my boobs and tried to stuff his tounge in my mouth at a bipartisian party after a local debate I helped organize. I am happily married and did NOT appreciate his advances (nor did I instigate anything at all!!!) - and he is married and has a small child! Granted he was a little tipsy and is a republican, but that's still no excuse.

I hear now he wants to run for US Congress. Should I expose his actions? What's the best way to do it?

Yes. Expose the scumbag. We don't need anymore David Vitters in Congress, senate, whatever. I'd call the newspapers in the area and tell them they need to print your story and learn about the bastard. I'm dying to find out who it is....email me if you don't want to share it in public!

Only if you are willing to have the whole story splashed over the papers, also the resulting legal action will be interesting.

Why did you not contact the police and cmplain of an assault when it happened instead of waiting until you hear he wants to run for Congress. You think there could be a little something in it for yourself??

That is, if this happened for real at all.

Depends if he's a Democrat or Republican. If he is Democrat you will be a star, Republican you will probably have the full range symptoms of emf radiation and start to hear voices.

Expose him, after discussing w/ husband. Contact local TV/radio/newspaper w/ reputation for digging out dirt. Tell one it will be their exclusive. If they pass, go to the next on the list. If all else fails, a letter to the editor or to the state Democratic party chair.

"and is a republican." ??

i don't see the relevance of political party affiliation. a letch is a letch and would be a letch by any other name.

you should report it, if you can verify it, otherwise you are letting yourself in for a bumpy ride that will boil down to a he said/she said situation and your past sadly, will be scrutinized so if you have anything not for public consumption you would be wise just to 'read him the riot act' and move on.

just trying to be honest with you as to what you might expect.

If what you are saying is actually true and not just a blurb here to degrade republicans then you should go to the press with your story.

If he's a dirtbag, do what you need to do. Question: if he were a democrat, would that be an excuse?
