Is one more sucessful than the other? Or does it mainly depend on the woman?
Is there a price difference? Difference in side effects or risks?

Clomid is supposed to be more efficient, but with more side effects, the doctor will prescribe either one depending on your case and your needs, talk to your obgyn about this, you can also ask an RE (fertility specialist) online to get their input about the differences on these two, and which one could be better for your specific case, try www.FertilityTies.com

Clomid has been more successful but that is only because it has been around longer and there have been no good studies done to compare the two drugs.
From my experience Femara is cheaper but if you shop around you can get either drug pretty cheap. I pay $2 per tab of generic Clomid. But the Femara was covered under insurance.
The side effects from clomid like headache, hot flashes, mood swings, are rare in women using Femara.

I have a friend that used clomid and did not see results. Her doctor then put her on Femara and she got pregnant in her first month.
