I quess the quickest exercise to do is to draw a figure in 3 minutes, then 2, then 1 minute. Take 5 or 10 or if necessary 15 minutes to look at your model in the preferred pose first. Use ink. Have a jar of neat ink (without any added water) then dilute to half kin another jar, then have just a dash of ink to add to the third jar of water. Enjoy! Think Monet and off you go! Enjoy!!

sketch out a few ideas with a piece of soft charcoal or a drawing pencil really fast like 10 or 20 seconds. Draw a apple, a chair, a vase, grapes, a bucket, any numbers of things lying around you house, and do a quick sketch of them.

What are you using them for if you gotta hurry? all I can say is when I doodle "art pieces" from memory, lately it's been cartoon faces, & other times, roses, leaves, skullheads, flames, eyeballs, hearts, etc. (those are like tattoo pieces). unless you have a different interests. another is small "still-life" pieces; "fruits & vegatables" or -?
