Why are there no thin teens?

...or skinny teens or average teens?
why are all the tenn girls really fat with big guts and rolls?
I remeber when most girls were just average. even some were thin...
Why are they all so fat anymore???

Well, I live in Cali, and sooooo many little mall rat girls are fat. i mean, like you said, beer guts, rolls, yuck. i think it has to do with them pigging out on food at school and them really not caring. Like, I know a girl who is really fat but she thinks she's hot because she has DD boobs. i mean sure, from the boobs up its fine but look below and.......ewwwwwwwwwww

There are thin teens I see them all the time,but yes a lot of them are starting to get overweight just like a lot of little kids are starting to get obease early. A lot of it has to do with american is eating more fatty food now days. People are on the go so much that the rely on fast food too much and kids and teens aren't as active anymore and are bored and want to sit around and eat. It is the parents responsability to make sure their teens and kids are on a good diet and exercise enough if not obesity could be a problem.

There are some thin teens. Some people I know are just really lucky and have a fast metabolism. I'm about average and so are most of my friends, but there are lots of overweight teens out there because they don't eat right and don't exercise.

I believe there must be a lot of thin teens around. Just look in the malls. All they have are stores with sizes that start at 00 and end at size 9! If there weren't any, merchandisers would not be catering to them.

For one thing, I've seen that alot of teens are "fit" or maybe even too skinny. And to clear up other misconceptions, I'm "fat", and its not because I sit around eating all day. I don't eat any more than my size zero sister-in-law. And, lastly, why should you care what complete strangers weigh?

come over to south carolina, actually a lot of the girls I think are too thin.
Kids see their lazy fat parents and they think it's okay. I don't have a work ethic or sense of personal responsibility
I'm a trim 118 pounds, I stay in good shape

well..i'm not fat. i'm not sure where exactly in America you are because here it's definatly different. if anything, girls here are too thin.

ever think maybe it's the teenagers YOU'RE around are fat? It's not like everybody from age 13 to 20 is a tub of lard, you know.

im thin. but i understand what you rsaying. in my classroom it seems like the number of overweight teens is increasing. Its because of the way americans eat; Burger King, McDonalds, ect. Recently theirs been a study that showed that teens are consuming too many calories a day. Also, its much easier to find unhealthy food then to find healthy food. In the vending machines at school, its easy to find cheap calorie packed snacks.

i'm 13 and i don't think i'm super duper fat. i don't have any rolls hanging over or nothing....but i'm not like a twig....that's just kinda sickening.

And maybe teens are fat cuz of the junk food they eat. some teens hardly go outside anymore.

I think the reason you are saying that is because of food - Rich countries have too much too eat whilst poor countries have too little to eat. Simply stating that there are no thin teens - its a stereotype.
