What was it like When you were young?????

What are the 5 things that you have now that you didn't have growing up.. NOT INCLUDING. COMPUTERS & CELLPHONES

Mine:
1. Satalite Dish (just had channels that came in on the rabbit ears in the living room- 8 if you were lucky)
2. Video Games (mine was Attari- and black and white)
3. No Guns in our Schools
4. dozens of types of bottled water
5. Onstar... had to use a regular map book

good selection of feminine products like all the body washes, facial cloths, lots of toothpaste flavors, mouthwash varieties, frozen food like hot pockets, fruity yogurts, unlimited cable and long distance telephone service ( I have had party lines once) schools have advanced classes and schools for arts in the public school system, zip lock baggies, McDonalds use to be a big deal now we have tons of fast food,

Didn't have then:
electric typewriter (manual only)
copy machine (hand-cranked mimeograph only)
roller blades (clamp on to your shoes only)

Did have:
strict school dress codes
one-speed bicycles
dial telephones
far less crime
felt safe in your own home, town, school, etc

We only had one television in the house. A big set, in the living room and you had to get up and walk over to it to change the channel.

when i was young dinosaurs still roamed the earth so what i didn't have then that i have now? clothes, silverware, a porcelain toilet, a wallet, and a war mongering world leader. among a whole lot of other things
