Ok, so my father has a skin condition and does not drive a vehicle, which gives me the excuse to tint my car 20% (30% is legal limit in Indiana) because I drive him to work a lot, what if I get pulled over by a cop and my father was not in the car, would I have to show a Doctor's note for my father for the tint? Would the cop understand or would he still give me a ticket?

Thanks

A doctor's note should be fine. If a cop ends up giving you a ticket, you can take it to court. I'm sure that if you give the judge the doctor's note, he would drop the ticket.

The front windows are the only ones with a restriction. The rear windows can have Limo Black on them. Let your dad ride in the rear while you chaufer him and Voila, you're legal.
