There are a few reasons why you would suddenly stop getting your period. First, you could be pregnant. Second, if you are too thin or recently lost weight sometimes it can affect your period. Third there are a variety of hormone disturbances which can stop your period. Bottom line is you should go to your doc and get it checked out.

You might be able to arrange this by using a progesterone only contraception, either by pill or injection. There is an initial 3 month period of erratic bleeding, then with ongoing use, increasing numbers of women stop having periods. By 1 year this reaches about 70%.

I would make an appointment with your doctor asap!
There could be lots of reasons, have you lost loads of weight? are you really stressed? are you pregnant? are you taking the pill without the 7 day break? if it's not any of these you could be going through an early menopause, like I said doctor asap! good luck

A couple of things to think about ... Do you suffer with an eating disorder? Are you physically exerting yourself, i.e., strenuous exercise?

There are also a few medical conditions that could prevent you from ovulating. You really should see your doctor.
