It is a choice to stay stuck rather than to work at changing. It is easier to turn on the television for a moment and then watch it for an hour than to face your anger, despair and feelings of powerlessness.

Maybe people don't understand the present moment.
Maybe people don't know how to connect with the present moment.
Many people cannot connect to the present moment.
Many people are in their desired future or painful past.

It is easy to do something familiar and supposedly "known" or habitual for most.
The present moment is a learned understanding and even if one person is practising being connected in the present moment it can make a difference to all.

Yes it is easier to "do" whatever.
It doesn't mean it is sane or the most empowering choice.

. Sometimes we HAVE to get away from our problems!
That recharges our 'batteries' and makes life less burdensome.
We NEED to balance out life between FUN and WORK. Some people just have a different 'balance point'. Leave 'em alone. do YOUR life!
