It is just inside of my vagina, it isn't solid (hard) its just kinda, there.??? I know to go to the doctor, and will definetly make an appt. Mon. morning, but I was wanting to know if anyone else has had one of these. I'm a little freaked out because I stopped having a period 5 months ago and think it is too soon for menopause, I'm 43. When I told my GP about stopping he said time would tell, and there was no urgency, just speak to my GYN at a regular appt, but I hadn't noticed the lump then..
I don't have any pain with it at all, however I do take some serious pain medications due to another health issue.
If it even sounds remotely familiar let me know, it will help me on my net search today. Thanx.

you may have a swollen Bartholin's gland, those are the glands that make lubrication for your vagina. And no, it is not too early for menopause, you are likely in what is called the perimenopausal stage where your periods become very irregular, later on you will start the hot flashes and mood swings, when you see the doctor about the lump, ask him about HRT.

Everyone is different. It could be nothing or it could be very serious. I say get to your gyn asap.
