How old do you have to be to be a professional vet?

you have to graduate high school, then go to vet school. that can take 8 years, so figure on 25 or 26.

There is no age restriction; however, you do need to go to an accredited college and get a degree to become a Veterinary.

It's not a question of age, but education. You have to go to college and then veterinarian school.
