I can't really speak for the men...but I like to be the man's first love. I find it secures me a place in their heart forever.
I've been lucky in life to assume this position, more often than not, and it is good for me. However, they say it brainwashes them.
Who knows...I'm still stuck on my first love, so I guess there is some truth to that...

I disagree about men.....Maybe a boy has the thought that if you're the first you're the best. But, the older you get the less appealing because women seem to really attach themselves to their first one. I do agree with the second part. That means alot...and keeps the love going.

Very much agree. Women want to find a man that they can change, so that they keep him forever. Men want to be the womans everything, we don't like the idea of our girl being with anyone else whether it was before us or after us.

Well, it can also go the other way as well. Just as long as they are both mature and looking for a relationship.
Women like to be the mans first love too... and men like to be the womans last romance. So, it goes both ways.
