I like hanging with guys. its more relaxing to me. being with a bunch of girls is annoying...lots of drama and stress.
my aunt told me I shoudn't be hanging out with a bunch of guys because "something might happen". I dont knwo what she meant..they might rape me??? thats crazy.
someone give me some advice because I don't like other girls very much and I like having guy friends.

my daughter is the same way...don't worry about. enjoy your guy friends, and really enjoy the few girl ones that come your way -- makes them all the more special!!
never mind your aunt -- although respect her!! -- she's a different generation where this was not as acceptable or as common as it is today

It is not wrong unless you are intimate with them in a sexual way. What your aunt is trying to tell you without being perfectly blunt is that you could more easily have intercourse when you hang out with guys and it wouldn't necessarily be rape, but it could be rape, but mutual sexual activity. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure it out, honey. You must be very young and don't know about the ways of the "old wicked world". Sometimes things start out nice, but end up BAD, so be careful and do NOT get sexually involved with your friends!

All my friends are guys too.
She probalby mean that you would be raped, but of course she doens't know them as well as you do. Your a smart girl, trust you instinct.
She could have also meant that you will get a bad name for hanging out with all of those guys. It happened to me. They told me I couldn't have a best guy friend unless I was giving him 'something'. Just don't let that bother you.
However, a problem might be you having feelings for one of them. Avoid that at all costs. An innocent crush is okay, just odn't let it overwhelm you.
GO ahead and continue hanging with your boys. They will be a lot better friends than girls will ever be.

No, its totally fine to hang out with a bunch of guys. I do the same thing and Ive made it through just fine. Just make sure you have a couple girls you can turn to when you need that girl talk. Because guys usually don't like listening to stories of your cramps and how badly you want some guy.

It's fine...(but it is worthwhile to be aware of your surroundings at all times to ensure that you're not vulnerable). Truthfully, many women I know feel closer to guy friends than to female friends, (maybe there's a competition component to that which I don't profess to understand). On some levels it will make you more insightful on "guy behavior" when dealing with your own significant other, but it's also likely he's going to resent all that male attention on the periphery of you.

thats exactly how i am! i have a couple of close friends that r girls..but as a whole guys are better to hang out with.
i think as long as ur happy then theres really no problem. screw what other people have to say

No people are people it should not matter the gender that has nothing to do with them as a whole and what they offer in conversation but as a women you should always read the signs and follow and you should always keep your guard up ALWAYS

I def dont think theres nothing wrong with it..Yes...girls can be CATTY..Somtimes its better to hang with the guys..There is time where I rather spend time with my guy friends then the girls..
