What needs to be "discovered" is that we are all a part of one another (even though we all seem to be apart from each other), that when we help another, we help ourselves, and when we hurt someone else, we injure ourselves as well.
Everything and everyone are connected in the web of creation, throughout all space and time.

When this is not only known in the mind but held in the heart, then a person will have integrity and always follow the path of pure spirit and of the Truth.

Well this is my opinion,it depends how will you approach to this path, from what aspect?Religious, Scientific, Philosophical or just from Moral aspect? Well if you ask me, I think that the path of the pure-spirited person have to contain all this aspects but not in strong dozes, everything is relative, everything has its own borders. It is the best just to follow a path that will lead you to something that you believe and stand for, you know not like thus spoke Zarathustra it is more than that, when Nietzsche once wrote "I teach you the overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him" you see what does that mean to be bigger than Life, to overcome yourself that is the point, that is the path, to do something that will astonish you. Not to live like a priest or something similar just to Live like a human being but with moral and ethical values. Oliver Wendell Holmes once said "many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out." Just to Live a Life that you know......
