recently when i wake up at night, i feel a very bad pain in both my legs, as if i was doing some thing very physical all day (which i dont). and when i totally wake up in the mornings, my legs continue to feel the same for couple of hours. I've been sleeping way more than usual recently, and i dont know why . I used to sleep about 6 hrs per night, now i'm sleeping 8-12 hours per night. And not very often, some times when i'm very very tierd during sleep, as it happened last night, i wake up for a sec and i want to move, but its as if i'm frozen n i want to talk but i cant n i even try but its like i cant move my body . This used to happen once every couple of months when i was sooo tierd, but it happened last night, and the pervious night i had sleept about 11 hours and hadn't done any thing all day. And its not like i put my self to sleep, i just fall sleep n i have very vivid dreams, and last night was all night mares it was horrible. Is there some thing wrong with me??

I agree that you need potassium and calcium. A lot of young people experience what you do: I did when I was a teen.

Good luck!

you are probably having a growth spurt or charlie horses. i had these a couple months ago and i would wake up at 2 with severe pains. i ate a banana every day and started taking calcium tablets. the potassium in the banana helps dissolve the calcium. drink milk and keep doing whatever you are doing.

Try not to worry too much, although I know that what you are experiencing can be pretty frightenig at times.

If it continues or you have further concerns I would advise you to see your doctor, just to check out that there isn't an underlying cause for the problem.

Good luck

It might be growing pains. Or if you have a tingly feeling in your legs, you might have Restless Leg Syndrome.
