Matt Damon.......The Bourne movies are his best but he's been in others that were also good.
I think Mark Wahlberg is good but I just think Damon is a little better.

I like both actors very much, but I will say Matt Damon is the better action star. I say this because Matt is a fairly good actor, ( i.e., "The Talented Mr. Ripley", "Saving Private Ryan" and "Good Will Hunting", for which he won an Oscar for best screenplay, along with Ben Affleck; as well as The Bourne Identity films, all of which were soo good. People like him because he can act and he's like a guy- next door type....he can relate to a lot of people, like the typical everyday guy.

I think Matt Damon is just a better actor, period (although I do like Mark), simply because he does great action, but he can do alot more than action. My 2 favorite Damon movies aren't action: "Good Will Hunting", with Ben Afleck & Minnie Driver, and "The Talented Mr. Ripley" with Gwyneth Paltrow & Jude Law. Both EXCELLENT Damon roles!

A recent article came out that Matt Damon movies have returned the best profit. I especially liked him in Goodwill Hunting and The Bourne series..

Matt is my favorite of the two, but I will admit that Mark's appearance is better suited to action stuff. Matt is "boy next door" kind of hot. Mark is "Yeah, I might be small, but I am cocky and I will kick your butt" kinda hot. Matt's acting skills are more versatile than Mark's. Also, Matt is really good at nailing "accents" spot on! They are both great, but Matt is the overall best in my book.

I think that mark wahlberd is way better, and way more hot!!
My favorite movies with him in it are planet of the apes, four brothers and this is not a action movie but I love him in I heart huckabees.
