Dee Clark 1975
He was better known as an R+B singer in the 50's and early 60's. His biggest hit was in 1961.
Ride a Wild Horse was his last release and reached the UK top 30. Sorry but I can't find any lyrics.

Dee Clark (1975) - Ride a White Horse
This was a hot UK comeback for the '60s soul tenor, though somehow in the US this song failed to chart. This song can be found on several disco compilations however.
It was written by Kenny Nolan, the disco songwiting specialist for producer Bob Crewe. Nolan had a huge hit as a solo artist with 1976's "I Like Dreamin'".
