If it is not, please explain. But take into account someone who currently pays no taxes as all under the current system who under the Fair Tax proposal will get a prebate...are they not just getting more money from the Government with this plan?
How can any conservative support this plan filled with handouts?

The Fair Tax would eliminate tax write offs (because you aren't paying income taxes). So the rebate on household necessities would be similar to current tax write offs.
I'm a conservative who is for it because it will probably be the greatest step towards freedom this country will take since the American Revolution.

There are many people in this country who are mentally and/or physically incapable of taking care of themelves, and who do not have families. They are very sick, very old, very insane, weak, or not very bright.
If we are to remain civilized, we cannot let these people die on the streets.
Furthermore, there are many among the homeless who are able-bodied but temporarily down on their luck, and who work to pull themselves out of the situation. This can be very difficult and take a long time. One problem they encounter is that their ID cards get stolen while they sleep. Without, ID, you are out of luck on the job market.
There are many Americans who strongly believe that we must provide a social safety net.
There is no reason why anyone should die in the streets of America, alone, insane, sick, starving, and cold.
But it happens.

yes lets give the money to the ones who really deserve it, the ones who already have enough money to last their eternal life in hell that they are headin towards!!!
accordin to their religion they have booked a first class reservation into the afterlife!!!
and who would that be?!!!
and another thought to bring in mo money for them is to have the homeless have a lottery from each state each month.
when a down and out homeless person picks the winnin number we shall have a pay per view bashin!!!
whoever pays a participation fee shall recieve an autographed barry bonds baseball bat and a pair of his mommas steel toed spiked baseball cleats, and just let em take out all their miserable lives frustrations on the winners of the homeless lottery, just bash the hell out of em boys and girls!!!
most of the homeless are peaple who have worked hard and served their country and tried to raise a family but just got overwhelmed by the system, they didnt know who to ask for help and where to get it, cause the way its set up if ya dont ask they dont tell ya, and they were not fortunate to be born into old easy money!!!
you friggin cons make me sick!!!
i was homeless once, but i was to tough to let peaple step on meand to keep down!!!
and i have helped several peaple get the disability they deserved because like me they seved their country and had some helpcomin to em!!!
if i ever see one of you cons disrespect a homeless person in front of my face ill bash you to the ground and make ya cry!!!
