Going from left to right:

Inserts a picture from file
Image control - allows you to choose black and white, grey scale or a watermark
Adjusts the contrast (more contrast)
Adjusts the contrast (less contrast)
Adjusts the brightness (more brightness)
Adjusts the brightness (less brightness)
Crops the picture
Rotates the picture 90 degrees
Changes the outline of the picture
Compresses the picture (makes the file size smaller)
Changes the colour of the picture (clip art only)
Brings up the Format Object menu (so you can change options such as size, position, layout, etc.)
Set Transparent Colour - if you want the background to be clear, click on this tool and then click on the background and wherever that colour appears it will be transparent (works on clipart not photos)
Resets the picture to its original settings (an oops button)
