The ICC Twenty20 World Championship is the international championship of Twenty20 cricket. The event is organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and is contested by all Test-playing nations plus qualifiers. The inaugural championship is going to be held in South Africa in 2007. The tournament will consist of 12 teams. The championship will be held around every two years.

Its the world cup for players that are under 20 years of age because they cant play in the full world cup yet.
