About 35 years ago I was pretty messed up on heavy drugs and booze. One night we were scoring some meth and a fella was walking down the sidewalk across from us. We at the time had long hair and he had his hair slicked back. I yelled out hey you f**king greaseball and he came across the street and kicked my friend in the head a couple of times. This guy that I was with at the time got up and gave me a pair of brass knuckles. We followed this fella to a park across the street and he sat down on a bench with each of us on either side of him. Ended up I punched the fella with these knuckles and the next thing that I knew my friend pulled out a knive and stabbed this fella. Well we ran and I was living out of town at the time, court ordered out of my hometown for two years but refused to follow these conditions. So when I returned home on one occassion the police came and arrested me for attempted murder. The next thing that you knew the pair of us were in jail. A third friend of ours came and tried to turn himself in also but the cops knew he wasn't involved so didn't charge him. Charge ended up being reduced to assault with a deadly weapon and we both beat the charge. This fella that was stabbed was also high that night, which we didn't know at the time, and ended up in the nut house from this event. After his release and trail ended he ended up taking his own life dramatically. I have many regrets from the past but this is one regret that I truly am sorry ever occurred and to this day feel remorseful for.
