Is losing ones virginity simply the act of vaginal penetration by a penis or there an element of chasity? Like if a girl is unchaste but not penetrated can she rightfully call herself virginal?

many cultures believe that a woman has lost her virginity if her hymen is broken (Penetration) —even though this may happen from inserting a tampon or riding a horse. Likewise, some people believe that virginity can be lost from oral or anal sex, not just penile-vaginal penetration. There is no set rule as to what constitutes virginity, so your own personal beliefs will be able to answer this question.
