Whose was it? How badly were you hurt? What did you do?
I was walking in a school yard once when I was attacked. It lunged for my throat and ripped my shirt and tore a hole in me along my rib cage. When it came back at me I kicked it in the head as hard as I could. The owner showed up and all I wanted to do is kick his butt for letting his dog run loose

I have three dogs at my home. Great friends. But some pet owners seem irresponsible

yeah i have. it was a dog we were sitting while a friend moved. it was pretty bad. i had to go to the hospital and have stitches put in. after that i have weary of being around dogs i dont know. good luck.

Bitten once by a pit bull. I was doing Home Health nursing. The dog attacked me when I entered the house. Scared the crap out of me. I had never before met a dog who didn't like me. He got me in the calf, ruined my pants. I was sent to the emergency room and the health department by my supervisor, and stayed off work the rest of the day. His owner "penned" him up with an unlatched guardrail, which he easily knocked over. Irresponsible? No kidding!

when I was about 4 I ran to neighbor's backyard, their dog was loose and bit me in my leg, my Aunt took me to the hospital, I got some shot. Don't remember anything anymore.

Yes.. twice. Once when I was really little... it was a great dane taller than me at the time.. He ran over to play with me and his tooth ran into my head.. Of course I cried my eyes out. cuz there was blood everywhere. The dane felt SOO bad..laid next to me and sulked. Poor guy..
Second time.. my fault. I reached in to pet a dog in a car.. DUH... he was protecting his territory. LOL

Yes, accidentally, by one of our own dogs. They were fighting and I was trying to separate them. Got a nasty 2 inch gash on my arm. (ouch!)
