Prices of everything associated with high fuel prices have cost me a lot of money. I can attribute that to our government for allowing collusion between oil companies. Particularly the Republicans that have blocked inquires into gouging and any bill fining OPEC or gas companies for gouging.

It's been interesting but it hasn't been great. I lost $65,000 to a crooked contractor who didn't get a lick of time in jail. I moved from the North to the South where housing values are much better and taxes are considerably lower.
My old home town was sucked up by Baltimore's spreading metropolis, taxes shot up from 4% up to 16% and crime increased by nearly 200%
Don't know who was to blame, and I really don't care. Yeah my pocketbook took a huge blow. I just wanted the heck outta there. The more I dwell on my losses the more time it takes out of my schedule when I could be productive and try to recoup my finances.
Maybe it was Bush. Probably not though. Maybe it was the local authorities for not cracking down on crime. Whoever the blame lies with, I honestly don't just don't care anymore.
One thing for sure though, the experiences I've had over the past 8 years have made me a very hard woman and I trust noone. Sad but true.

I own a home, I'm making more money and I am in a better position to take advantage of the opportunities that come along. Some of it as a result of Bush and some of it I because of my abilities. My local government officials are idiots who throw away money like it's toilet paper.

I've learned to relax more. It's my body and mind that have caused this.
