My house is haunted, im 100% positive about that, Its about 150 years old, i bought it about 6-7 years ago and completely remodeled it and now im liveing in it with my family (girlfriend and my step daughter)
Sence i bought it we have had numerious paranormal things happen that i cant explain, I dident really believe in ghost untill i moved here. I just wanted to know if some of the things that happen have an explaination or hint of why certain things happen. Heres a list and it happens at least once a week.
- Doors lock and unlock
- pools of water apear on the kitchen floors and counters
- Me and my girlfriends bed shakes at night (no were not doing it lol) and as soon as one of us sits up it imeditaly stops.
-i have something touch my arm (it feels warm but no ones there)
-and i hear footsteps in the attic CONSTANTLY

Sounds like most nights at work for me (it pretty haunted). Especially the doors locking and unlocking. I hate it when that happens because it makes my job harder (security).

How heavily does your bed shake? If its very slight, I wouldn't worry about it. My wife and I have are bed shake occasionally, but our house isn't haunted. Old houses are easily shaken by anything from a nearby by road to a set of train tracks up to a half mile away. When that shaking occurs its usually so minimal that you would only notice it if you were in bed, or staring at a dangling object such as a chandelier.

Pools of water is a new one for me. We'll have water fixtures turn on and off at work, but I've never found water on any surface without a solid explanation. Interesting there.

Arm touching happens, but what concerns me is the fact that you said it feels warm. That bothers me because it should either not have a temperature, or it should feel cold. Warmth is a sign that the entity is cognizant and is trying to comfort you, or that the entity is non-human (demonic). The activity in your house doesn't sound demonic to me really. Have you or you girlfriend lost anyone close to either of you, like family or friends? Do you know if anyone died in your house in the past? Being 150 years old, that's almost guaranteed.

The stomping around in your attic is extremely common. Attics and cellars are places of retreat for entities. Think of it like their home-base, or comfort zone. They go there because people are least likely to go in those areas. They only do this when they are cognizant (as opposed to residual haunting which are not aware of their surroundings) which kind of reflects back on what I said about the warm touch. Sometimes asking them to keep it down while you're sleeping actually works, and sometimes it doesn't. If it becomes unbearable, you'll need to do a cleansing of your home.

Paranormal Activity In My Home

2016-11-01 07:39:12 · answer #2 · answered by windy 4 · 0 0

I would try to discover the History of your house. Maybe you can figure out why you're experiencing all this if you knew who lived there.
If your bed is shaking, try moving it to a different corner of the room or choose a different area to sleep.
Has your girlfriend and step-daughter experienced any of the paranormal activity? Just curious...

Good luck.

Yup, sounds like you got ghosts! Lively ones, too. it is a fact that the most paranormal activity happens around young women, so your stepdaughter may be contributing her share to the activities without even knowing she is doing it. I think it has to do with giving off large anounts of biomagnetic energy during adolescence, and thus "feeding" the ghosts, who respond by becoming more active.

What you are experiencing is one of two things..either
spirit(s) or place memory, In old houses and everywhere there are spirits, either stuck on this plane and don't realize they are dead or those who have crossed over and are coming back to visit.
It sounds like you may have both. Let me be clear, that there is no such thing as demons, the devil, or the bogeyman! If they are bothering you, ask them to leave. Just say "you are dead, go home"..but there is a possibility that you have someone from your family that was close to you who visits you from time to time. If at any time, you feel anxious or afraid just ask your guides and angels to come and get them and lead them home, You can also ask God to limit the things you are seeing, if you are worried about it.

you remodeled and woke up the ghost. they seem to become more active when their home is changed. turn on a tape recorder and ask questions. pause for answers even if you don't hear anything. then play the tape back and see if you got any EVP. how old is your stepdaughter? poltergeists are more active around teenage girls. if no one has been hurt, don't worry about it. it's bothersome, but harmless. maybe it's just trying to get your attention. try to get background information about your house from the historical society or the courthouse to see if you can figure out who it might be.

Most likely a poltergeist, but you could always read up on the history of the house to see if any major traumatic events took place there that resulted in some ones death!

Sounds like they are trying to get your attention for some reason Mustang. Ask them what they want and they will let you know. You don't need a "fancy dancey" seance or anything to do this. Just ask. A lot of them get bored with that crazy stuff anyway. Spirits are people too.:)

Lucky! I wish I had Paranormal activity happen in my home! Just give your spirits a name and call them out, tell them good morning, or goodevening, it just sounds like they want to let you know that they are there.
