I think they fall into two categories:
1) Straight people with no active social lives who vent their frustrations at us or
2) Closet cases who hate themselves for being gay.

Well I would say it is because they need to pick on some one to make them feel better about themselves. It is also that they do not understand the culture that comes along with our crowd. It is fear of the unknown.

no easy answer to that- seems to be a variety of hate mongers- a lot are religious and we know what hypocrites they are i.e. the Catholic Church and abusive priests etc, some are closet gays who hate themselves for being gay, but cant admit it and pick on other gays to make themselves feel better,etc.....

They love to push our buttons and destroy any safe haven we may have. Its just their nature. Plus, many of them are closeted homosexuals afraid of who they really are.
