wow that is a hard question you think that going back would find yourself in some sort of better place but truly there was hardship starvation hatred and disease problems but if I could choose it would be the california coast 1920's to the 30's before it was ruined what a paradise sand ,surf ,grow your own food, fish from the sea, can you imagine! my grand mother traveled there with two other young teachers in 1929 in a buick that had wooden wheels and no windows just pull down shades arrived in malibu with no place to stay and a woman going on vacation let them stay at her house on the beach No charges what a different world

Ernest Hemingway, you can't even spell his name and he's a US Citizen? I doubt Ernest Hemingway would want anything to do with a Canadian. Bruce, you have some serious issues with your suppressed inadequacies in dealing with being a Canadian.
Regardless, I would love to meet Ernest Hemingway. He and I have so much in common since we both are US Citizens and veterans having fought overseas...

I'd go back to the late 1800's/early 1900's or ancient greece. I've always thought that those would be interesting time periods to have lived in. I also think it would be interesting to be an explorer during the time that europeans were mapping out the globe and exploring the New World...although that covers about three centuries.

I wouldn't go back in time because I'd probably wind up altering history, therefore altering the present.

I have always admired Queen Elizabeth I. I would love to meet her & know her personally(without ever angering her enough to get thrown in the tower).

I would either go back in time to my childhood and play football instead of baseball/soccer.
Or I would go back..A year and change what happened in my relationship.
