apple, I agree. But you yourself did not address the issue, just took shots at others who answered the question.
I think a lot of it has to do with gun laws in America and the busy busy life style and extremely high expectations set by society. Some people, most of which who already have psychological problems, and they just loose it.
Also many of the signs come far before school shootings, but the law and parents often prevents schools and other institutions from taking the proper action to rehabilitate these children.
Of course school shootings are just one example of America's violence. As apple stated there are several other statistics that show Americans have problems with violence as well.
You also have to look at population numbers as a whole though. More people means there are more chances of these things occurring. America's population is high compared to many other modern nations. Just look at all the violence in China and India.

It is not constantly. Why do Canadians alway overgeneralize. BTW the last two massacres were done by immigrants. How you connected feminism to this defies any reasonable replica of logic

wow, i love that no one wants to address this issue critically. instead they all resort to cheap shots and cliches.
do yourselves a favour and look up crime statistics in developed nations. the US leads quite a few of them. if you want that to change you need to stop saying crap like "americanzz got stuff 2 fight 4" and start looking at the causes of violent crime.
the homicide rate in the US is 4 times that of Canada. and that doesnt worry anyone?

We're not. It's just our news casters tend to be more pessimistic in their reports then Canadians. Any country has violent people, its just a matter of how many more people there are and how much more you hear about it.
Plus most of the whole "Americans are rutin tutin gun toutin morons" is a pure stereotype. Thats like saying all Asians are smart or all French people are smelly, most of the time your wrong and most of the time you'll offend someone.

GLORIFYING MASS MURDER – THE PROFOUNDLY MENTALLY DISTURBED IMITATING THE PROFOUNDLY MENTALLY DISTURBED:
http://archives.cbc.ca/IDC-1-70-398-2237/disasters_tragedies/montreal_massacre/clip3
‘Marc Lepine likely began hating women as a child… Lepine had probably planned the Ãcole Polytechnique massacre for weeks or months. Mass murderers plot out their killings ahead of time in order to "take out" as many people as possible from a given group in society.
Lepine blamed his own personal failure on women and believed they prevented him from achieving success. Lepine's own suicide also fits the mass murderer profile, which differs from that of serial killers who want to "bask in their glory and become celebrities."
Marc Lepine was born Gamil Gharbi to an Algerian mutual fund salesman who thought "all women were chattels." The article said Lepine's father beat him until he bled from the nose and ears and didn't allow his mother, a nurse and former nun, to console her son. It also reported that Lepine's mother was often "humiliated, smashed up against walls and beaten." Lepine changed his name in his teens.’

There are NOT "constant" high school and college massacres in the US. But when it happenes here, it gets a lot of worldwide media attention. This is America - the whole world watches us. Nobody watches Canada. That doesn't mean there are no murderers there.
Increased feminism would make things worse. The mass murderers you're talking about are men who apparently believed themselves to be marginalized, and some of them actually were.
Feminism would not do much for these guys.

It was feminism that disenchanted America's men.
We don't need more of it.
Why don't you shave and get a haircut? Do you need a beard to hide behind? Besides, being beardless would make you look more feminine.
GAARA OF THE DESERT- Canadians don't fight?
Six of my Canadian relatives were killed in WWI and WWII. That is only on one side of my father's family; I don't know about the other side, but there were about twenty with that last name who were killed.

The lack of responsibility, and break down of discipline, not guns because anyone can make a bomb, or a projectile, bow and arrow, knife, if we put more law on these things, it will back fire, we need discipline & responsiblity back in our schools, and homes.

Cloning another participants to discredit them won't help your cause.
Feminism is a diverse collection of social theories, political movements, and moral philosophies, largely motivated by or concerning the experiences of women, especially in terms of their social, political, and economic situation. As a social movement, feminism largely focuses on limiting or eradicating gender inequality and promoting women's rights, interests, and issues in society.
