My friend bought a new bmw. The car I have always wanted. He knew I always wanted this car and he goes and buys it. Granted, he does have money but to go and do that? If I were to key it would he suspect me? I know nice new cars get keyed a lot so maybe he wouldn't?

Dont key it - that is a pain in the a$$ to fix
Instead break a few eggs on the paint while he is at work - it will leave a nasty stain in the paint.
A soda bottle full of bleach also does a good job.
Spray paint him rims pink - mirrors too
stick some old junk keys in his door locks and truck, and snap off the key inside.

So because he has what you want but cant have, you are going to destroy his property and make him miserable just because you are jealous? My friend bought a house that I liked, how about I go TP the place and throw bricks through the window??? If your friend was dating a very pretty and nice girl, the kind of girl you'd want to date, would you walk up to her and slash her face??? It's OK to be jealoius that he has the car you like, but instead of ruining his new car, and ruining the joy for him, just be happy for him, and save your money and maybe one day you can have it too.

Even if he did not suspect you, if he is really your friend, why would you consider doing something like that?
Rather than being happy that your friend got a nice car, that you can not afford, you want to punish him for his success?
You are acting like a child! Grow up and work hard, and buy what you want!

A. Sounds like your taking a cowards way to express your feelings. B. Does he really need a "Friend" like you. C. How does that fit in with the image of yourself as a friend.

depends if ur a good liar. and if u have an alibi. if every matches up that it seemed u didnt do it then he wouldnt be able to believe its you. also just dont leave any finger or foot prints befind just in case he wants to call the cops and makes a claim.
