Is ablution a choice for individuals or do you think it should be encouraged in young people?

After all, someyoung people (especially teenagers) need to be told what to do else they won't do it.

I have preached ablution until I am ablue in the face. My kids say they don't have the time, but that excuse just won't wash. I have come close to throwing in the towel, but I don't want to be soft soaped. I know if I shower my twins with praise when they do bathe that I will get more accomplished with positive reinforcement. They may pooh pooh me, but I know it is not real pooh, but a false pooh. A kind of sham pooh. I just don't want to rag on them too much. It is time we were honest as a family and came clean with each other, or it is all time down the drain.
