lol, 70mph on the motorway, at night, in my clapped out little VW polo. It was the first and only time i have been on the motorway and i was absoutley filling my pants!!! i hate driving fast, i am one of those people who thinks about what could happen if i crashed while driving fast and the thought scares the life out of me. Plus i had my 3 young children in the car too and it was a journey i had to take. In my car 20mph feels like you are speeding!!!!!!! My husband laughs at me, says i am a lightweight!!! lol

Well over 120 in a Buick GranSport, the speedometer needle disappeared after 120. Around 135 on a Honda v-45 Magna, and around 100 on a 3/4 dirt track in a 1979 Monte Carlo.

If I'm on a straight road, no traffic, I really love to speed, it;s exhilarating to me and I go as fast as the car can go, some cars I know I've been over 100 in. The down side is I have had quite a few speeding tickets and lost my license for 6 months so I "try" not to speed anymore.

1965 105 mph, hydro plane(boat).

1975 95 mph breaking in the brand new I 5 freeway(southbound)between Manteca and Bakersfield Calif. I slowed down when I saw the highway patrol with about 20 cars and trucks pulled over getting tickets, i was lucky. My husband slept the whole trip.

125 according to the speedo on the M4 several years back, It was fairly quiet and I had to make it to bristol by a specific time.
I would not like to drive at that speed on a regular basis. Not afraid of the speed but of the other idiots in cars in particular.

Going down nine mile hill into Albuquerque, NM. I got my 56 Merc up to about 130. It was amazing in that a GT40 from California pulled up alongside and hung with me for a few seconds then left me flat. That was a cool car.

Around 120mph on Okracoke Island, NC in a Saab 9000 Turbo between town and the ferry so I was sure no pigs were around to issue citation.
