I forgot to put money from the tooth fairy under my small son's pillow one night. When he woke and came to me disappointed, I told him that she had probably been so busy but she would come that night for sure.

I felt like the worst mother in the world.

When I first off went off to college, I lied (left and right) to a lot of very sweet girls who deserved so much better. I love you more than anything in the world, you're my soul mate...that sort of thing. Was a real asshole jerk, and not a single one of those gals deserved to be treated as bad as I treated 'em. (Lord, I was scum...ashamed to admit that now.)
