It doesnt matter if your ordering a pizza or having your truck repaired. People never do the job they are paid to do. They do just enough to sell it. Heaven for bid you need something difficult done.

You must be one of the workers. I understand, I'm a worker too. I used to get so frustrated that people weren't doing their jobs, but then I realized that I cannot control whether they do their jobs or not. So, I decided that I would focus only on what my assignments were, and deal with the incompetence of others along the way. Good luck.

The Generations of workers in the world today are mainly from two generations: Generation X and XY Cusp (also known as the MTV Generation. These are the kids that were basically diciplined in front of TV and Video games. They didn't have to work as kids helping out around the house or on the farm. Their parents were the hard workers. These generations also came after the 'change in dicipline tactics' do to the 'year of the child' situation and child abuse. Therefore, now it has gone from too much dicipline to no dicipline at all in a child's life since now you can be taken to court if you say 'boo' to your kids. We were balanced way back in diciplining our kids but that balance got out of hand and we became overbearing in the generations that came after WW I and WW II to the point of child abuse. In order to stop child abuse they made laws that now have back fired and we are now 'whimps' in the eyes of our children because there is no dicipline. Without dicipline, you cannot create a wholesome balance in the world. Undiciplined kids grow up to be undiciplined adults. That is the current generations that make up the work force today. They are also the generations that are making up our leaders as well. The scarier question is "What will Generation Y and the iGeneration produce in adults?", which are the kids born from 1976 to 2005. And now we are giving birth to Generation Z. Scary????????? Check out the site below for a rundown of Generations.

IIsn't that the truth? I often think "If I was their boss, they wouldn't have a job!". People are getting lazier, and it is so refreshing when you see a hard worker! I've done physical and mental work throughout the years, and try to go beyond what is expected of me. I have never had to ask for a raise! Why don't people understand this? You need to take pride in your work, no matter what it is! And parents need to instill this 'work pride' into their children when raising them. Good question!
