I've ran every errand, quick or not, in the past ten years barefoot.

And no matter what state you're in, it is NOT illegal to drive barefoot. Unfortunately, this myth is so common that even some cops believe it... but everyone who believes this please see source and stop spreading this falsity.

Is there restrictions on how far away this errand can be? If I run to my car or out to get the mail/paper I go barefoot. I went to the movies barefoot one time but I wore flipflops in, plus I don't think the movies count as an errand.

I once forgot my shoes at my friends house. My parents picked us up and took us to a town festival. I had to walk the whole thing barefoot until I found a pair of cheap slippers. I never forgot my shoes again.

Absolutely!! As long as I don't have to get out of the car. I love to drive barefoot - it feels very "free".

yeah. I've gone up to speedway (it's a gas station-type place) barefoot. I have to throw shoes on when I go inside though, so I have flip-flops in the car and take them back off when I get back into the car.

I don't drive, my mom does. I just turned 16 and don't have my license yet.
