running ok, reliable, just air bag light lit

get the person who done the iggy switch back and ask him to sort it out as they caused it, if they say no then get it done somewhere else and threaten small claims court if the person is half decent they will sort it out for you.

Unfortunately Air Bag Codes cannot be cleared with generic trouble code checkers. Most likely what happened the drivers air bag wire was disconnected and key turned on to unlock the steering coloum. Have the code checked and cleared. if the light does not go out there is something wrong and the bag will not deploy.

Whoever changed the ignition switch had to disconnect the airbag clockspring in the steering wheel to do it. He either didn't connect it back up, or a stored airbag code needs to be cleared.
