you don't say his age. I think you should make sure there is no neurological disorder through your doctor. if there is no physical/psycological cause, then he must be believed and supported so he does not become consumed with the subject and learns to channel it. Maybe a phone call to a church which practices the gifts of the Holy Spirit (pentecostal church) could help you to find a peace about this 'gifting'.
