Question: Is this contract fool proof?

AGREEMENT dated 16th Sept 2007
This Agreements is between Mr Joe Bloggs of 3 Serpentine close, Camden Town,and Mr Robwin Browin of 6 Rickitickitarvi Chase Mill Hill.
It is agreed that Mr Robwin Browin will pay, by way of an investment the sum of £20,000 (Twenty Thousand Pounds Only) direct to Mr Joe Bloggs.
Mr Bloggs agrees to pay Mr Browin the sum of £1,000 (One Thousand Pounds) each calender month as has been agreed prior by each party to this agreement.
In the event of Mr Browin requiring the return of his initial £20,000 (Twenty Thousand Pounds) from Mr Bloggs, he is required to give Mr Bloggs two (2) weeks notice of his intention to request such return of monies and Mr Bloggs promises to repay such sums no later than eight (8) weeks from the date of receiving notice from Mr Browin.
It is accepted that the laws of England and Wales govern
these Terms and Conditions of Business.

You can work on a contract that outlines the specifics of the investment, and what happens when the investment works (or doesn't). Also agree on the profit-sharing. Lastly, check that you have all his contact details, but most important is his agreement to go to a court if things turn sour.

Prepare to lose the friendship.

If you are worried about this, don't make the investment.

If he disappears, and this is not a loan with collateral, you are screwed.

ALWAYS GET A CONTRACT SIGNED IF YOU DONT YOU DONT HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON IF HE DOES DO ONE
