First, get into the right spirit of things, so the intuitive feelings are the right ones to follow. Pray, meditate or whatever. There is a difference between intuition and temptation. Experience will help tell the difference. Now the hard bit. Sometime or other you will get a dumb idea. Do it. What's the worst thing that could happen? Strangers think you're weird for helping someone ... or taking something with you that later turns out to be exactly what a person needed. If you pay attention to those quiet intuitive moments, they will get easier to recognise. If not, they will go quiet.

Become much more observant. intuition may be the process of putting very subtle clues together to "see" things others miss.
To become more observant, stop thinking in terms of yourself and become impartial. Don't have opinions about what you are seeing.

Just go to the nearest library in your neighbourhood.
Then down load and update the data bank.
Take a walk around the bookshelves.
Stop and pick up what attracts you to it.
Then if it's our creator's universal gifts of life in living words.
Borrow it home and do the down loading.
