I've only seen a few things on t.v. that actually look like they work, but I still always have my doubts. Have any of you bought anything from t.v. and actually got what you expected?

Isn't it frustrating? Not only from TV but from reputable stores as well. Advertising is basically hype and few items work as well as advertised. I sympathize with you. I would suggest that you return anything that doesn't work as expected; there's always a warranty. I've done it several times and received credit for the returns.

I've ordered from Time-Life - music. It works too well, I think. I ordered a series or CDs, paid for it and received it. After I got all of those, they kept sending me other rcrap that I didn't want! So, if I didn't take the time to send it back, they'd charge me for it. I had to tell them several times to STOP sending me this stuff.

My brother bought the Glass Wizard and it works just like the advertisement said it would. I use it to clean the inside of my windshield and it cleans well and doesn't leave any streaks.

You are right. I can't think of anything that I have bought that works as well or looks as good as it did on TV.

I think once an item I bought actually impressed me.

Worst thing I bought were "Miracle Blades" now know as the "Ginzu Knife".

I bought slider things from QVC that you put under your furniture so you can easily push them. They really worked and I was so happy with them I ordered more
