ironically, i felt the exact same feelings as you are now early this year, heck i even got depressed for a bit but i then realised something. if i felt that i have somehow not really acheived anything worthwhile in life so far, this was the turning point in which i would make a difference. why feel so down in the dumps when you can actually be doing something better?so here's what i can say to you: its ok that you feel the way you are right now, just channel your frustration in a positive way, make sure that from now you will make a change!
after thinking things out i felt considerably better, i hope the same goes to you.

20 is cake. turning 30 is much worse and 40 is downright scary. you haven't had much of a chance to achieve anything by 20. yes, there is that odd prodigy that has 5 published novels at 12 but, god, cut yourself some slack.
i haven't "achieved" much either...i'm 26. i doubt i'll do anything REALLY noteworthy by the time i do hit 40. but i am having a second little boy and i'm very proud of that. maybe they'll do something huge.
i kind of felt like you too and that was because i had no idea what i wanted to do. i still don't. but as the years tick by for me, i'm starting to realize that my life didn't end at 20, i didn't miss my chance. and that it won't end at 30, 40, 50 or 60. (assuming i'm around) i can still do whatever i decide to do at any time. i can take another career path any time i want. i could go back to school when i'm 35, people do that. at 20 you're really just starting to figure out who you are as a person, what your character is. focus on developing that, it will help you decide what is right for you to do.

Have you ever watched the movie Catty Shack? One of the great lines in the movie was when Chevy Chase was asked – If you don’t keep score, then how do you measure yourself against other golfers – his reply - by height!
My message - you’re placing way to much pressure on yourself. I suggest you start planning on taking a vacation, maybe Europe. Remember, you’re only 20 years old; learn more about yourself before totally conforming to the rules.

The inevitable consequence of being born is growing older. There is no reason to be frightened. You'll feel exactly the same on your 20th birthday as you did on the last day of your 19th. Make a life plan and follow it. You have many years ahead of you. I hereby lend you my life's motto, from the original "Matrix." It's "Focus. Focus. You can do this." I have confidence that you can do whatever you want to do, as long as you plan, organize, and focus. Good luck and happy 20th birthday.

You should be scared. Once you turn 20 your life is basically over. Check into nursing homes now so you have time to get the financing together before september.

this is completely the way i feel!
every year i am terrified of being a year older,
but i adjusted easily to being the age 18 & 19,
hopefully i can easily adjust to being 20 when the time comes,
i do believe that turning 20 is a pretty big deal,
i'm not sure how to answer your question,
but i just wanted to let you know that you are not alone...

Dont be daft, start worrying when you've done nothing with your life and your turning 30.
What exactly are you meant to have achieved by age 20 anyway? Except an overdraft.

lol chill out you're young. It may seem like you haven't done a lot but trust me you've probably done more than the people around you and just don't know it.
You're not even old enough to (legally) drink yet. So chill out enjoy yourself while you're near your prime.
